“My husband and I LOVED working with Arlene, she was such an essential part of our birth team. We interviewed a few different doulas and after talking with Arlene I said to my husband “wow I feel like with her on my team I could do anything.” Throughout pregnancy she was available to answer all questions and provide specific strategies to address concerns I had as they came up. Her pre-natal visits were so helpful to be able to connect with her. At the birth center she brought tea light candles and a blue tooth speaker to help create a peaceful environment and coached me throughout the whole labor and birth helping me to stay calm and centered. She worked so well with our midwives and I fully believe that having Arlene there allowed me to have my literal dream labor and birth. I highly highly recommend her!”

“Arlene was such a wonderful blessing to our birth experience for our first baby! I gave birth at a birthing center with a team of midwives and Arlene as my doula, and we also signed up for her prenatal birthing classes. When I went into labor, Arlene came right over and helped me labor at home until it was time to go to the birthing center and stayed until well after the baby was born to be an extra set of hands and help with latching. Having a doula during labor helped above and beyond what the midwives provided because she didn’t leave my side and she was able to read my body language and help me into new positions when I started getting tired. It was also great to have her over for our 2-week postpartum visit to think back on the labor and discuss recovery and all the new things that come with parenthood. Would absolutely recommend Arlene for birthing classes and doula services, she was wonderful!!
